What We’re Doing to Keep the Community Safe
Without Sacrificing Customer Experience

At Guardian Roofing & Siding, the safety and well-being of our customers and employees is always our top priority. We are closely monitoring these real-time developments and looking to experts such as the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and the Pennsylvania Department of Health for guidance. Following the March 16, 2020 press release from Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf asking non-essential business to close their physical locations, we began working remotely. Since construction and home repairs are considered essential, we have taken several actions to ensure we are keeping your well-being front and center moving forward during these times.

We’ve had internal communication ensuring our team is fully educated on how the virus spreads from person to person, as well as steps they can take to protect themselves and others. If our team members are not feeling well, we are requiring them to stay home and not allowing them on the job site or to meet with homeowners.

Our goal is to keep the customer and team members as safe as possible and away from any potential exposure, but this does not limit the level of service we are able to provide.

Our goal has always been 100% customer satisfaction. During this time we will rely heavily on technology to ensure your safety without sacrificing the exceptional service we strive for. We have the tools in place to begin your new project or to keep your existing project moving along with little to no physical interaction. This is simple to do with mobile apps such as Apple FaceTime or Google Hangouts. We can deliver the same great service and personalized, in-home style meeting via video chat. We’re happy to walk you through the steps to ensure you receive a detailed presentation to make informed decisions and the full value of the Guardian customer experience.

Most of the work we do does not require face to face interaction, so we are still able to perform most, if not all, repairs and replacements. Additionally, we offer industry leading technology, such as EagleView to gather precise measurements of your home, a personalized Customer Portal with all of the documents and photos pertaining to your project so you are involved in every step of the process, and the use of electronic contracts. Your Sales Consultant and Project Managers are only a phone call or text away to address any questions or concerns.

Keeping our community safe is an issue we take seriously. We are confident that we can make the safety and well-being of everyone our #1 priority while also delivering the personalized experience you have come to expect from us.

3/20/2020 Update

After hearing Governor Wolf’s announcement last night, we are completing open projects and looking for further guidance from our attorney and the Governor’s Office. A message was sent to the Governor’s office requesting clarification:

Good morning, I’m sure by now you are completely inundated with responses regarding COVID-19 and the order the close all non-life-sustaining businesses. I have a few questions that I would like to confirm with you directly regarding the work we do and if we can still render services.

I work for Guardian Home Improvements, LLC. We specialize in roofing and siding repair and replacement. We are taking this matter very seriously and have complied by shutting down our physical location as of Monday, March 16, 2020.

With the most recent news, we are unsure how to proceed. Our business is classified under construction, but we mainly replace damaged roofs and siding due to storm damages. We also offer emergency repair services to prevent further damage. In addition, some of our projects are in mid-production at this time.

Would we follow the Construction parameters, or can we continue providing these services under “Repair and Maintenance, Household goods repair and maintenance?”
